Melville Golf Centre

The next sessions begin from Saturday 21st January 2012 at Melville Golf Centre.    This course of tuition will consist of 10 weekly sessions of 1 hour per week, at the same time each week. The cost of this will be £ 75.  This fee includes the tuition, use of any equipment, range balls and all other charges that may be required for the course. It is your responsibility to attend all of the sessions because we are unable to make up any missed sessions at a later date.

To take part in one of the courses, please fill in the cut-off slip and return  to Melville Golf Centre as soon as possible, indicating your first and second choice of time and day. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.  When we have received your completed form, you will be notified by phone call/text of times and dates allocated. Melville Golf Centre reserves the absolute right to cancel any proposed course of Group Tuition

"3 Medal" Membership at Melville Golf Centre £100

HOW ONLY £100?

To be awarded an SGU or SLGA handicap or to maintain an existing handicap, you must play and hand in signed score cards from 3 rounds per year. For golfers who no longer wish to renew their existing golf club subscription or who are not members of a golf club, Melville Golf Centre has introduced a new category of Membership for 2012 called Melville Golf Centre 3 Medal Handicap Membership.

This membership offers you the choice of playing all competitions, remembering that for men you only need to hand in 3  cards or complete 3 official rounds to be awarded an SGU or SLGA, CONGU certified handicap. Handicap administered by Melville Golf Club Handicap Committees.

Conditions: Handicap Membership of Melville Golf Club entitles the Handicap Member to play all competitions and events  organised by Melville Golf Club to obtain or maintain an official SGU or SLGA handicap. The first 3 cards (or 54 holes) are FREE so scores can be submitted thereafter Greenfees will be charged at the full standard rate. Dates of Gents and ladies competitions medal to be announced following AGMs.

Both the ladies and Gents Golf Clubs reserve the rights to refuse membership. "3 medal" Membership has been used to describe a basic low entry cost Pay and Play Membership and entitles the member to a CONGU handicap according to current rules which does not nececessarily involve playing 3 medals.

Melville Golf Course is a well drained parkland golf course which is very seldom unplayable during the Winter months.  The greens are built to USGA standard and are always in great condition, temporary greens are only used on frosty mornings. Mats are used on the tees during winter with preferred lies on the fairways. Valid until 31st March 2012. Senior tickets are for over 60 year olds.

Melville Golf Centre reserves the absolute right to refuse to accept any application for a Winter ticket without any  explanation given. The ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable. ALL  POTENTIAL MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE AN ABILITY TO PLAY GOLF, KNOWLEDGE OF AND OBEY THE RULES OF GOLF, GOLF  ETIQUETTE AND LOCAL RULES OF MELVILLE GOLF COURSE.
