We have introduced additional new ways for everyone to enjoy their golf at Melville. We hope that these opportunities will encourage new people to join Melville. The Seniors Season ticket is available for either 5 days or 7 days, This will be suitable for people who no longer wish to play in medals to retain their handicap but wish to continue to enjoy their golf.  Senior Season Ticket holders will have the opportunity to become social members of the golf club by paying a small subscription to the Ladies or Gents Section of the Club. 3 Medal CONGU  members will have greenfees charges at standard rate.

Season Ticket Holders have the option of paying £10 directly to the Ladies or Gents section to become Social Members. Social members can play in club events but not medals or any other competition or event which requires an official SGU or SGLA handicap.

Melville Golf Centre is truly a golfing centre of excellence. Our facilities will help you enjoy and improve your game the whole year round, no matter the weather.

The floodlit, heated all weather driving range has automatic pop up Powertees and excellent shock-resistant strike proof mats . Our quality two piece 90 compression range golf balls are the best in the Edinburgh area and are regularly replaced.

There is a large practice putting green, pitch and putt area and a practice bunker. CLASS AA PGA Professional tuition for individuals and groups available at all times of year in our covered bays. Opening hours on the range shop are 9.00 am until 10.00 pm on weekdays and 9.00 am to 8.00 pm at weekends. 

The 9-hole golf course has been built to USGA standard and designed to offer enjoyment to beginners, whilst still offering a challenge to the most able golfers. The course is Pay and Play so all are welcome. For those without equipment, we offer a full hire service. Group outings by prior agreement. All we ask is that you have a knowledge of playing golf and observe the usual golf etiquette.

The golf shop is fully stocked for ladies, gents and juniors with ladies golf wear for both on and off the course our speciality.

Ideal as a starter membership or a way to obtain your CONGU handicap.

HOW ONLY £110?

To be awarded an SGU or SLGA handicap or to maintain an existing handicap, you must play and hand in signed score cards from 3 rounds per year or 54 holes. For golfers who no longer wish to renew their existing golf club subscription or who are not members of a golf club. This membership offers you the choice of playing all competitions following your 54 holes , remembering that for men you only need to hand in 3  cards or complete 3 official rounds to be awarded an SGU or SLGA, CONGU certified handicap. Handicap administered by Melville Golf Club Handicap Committees.

Conditions: Congu Membership of Melville Golf Club entitles the Congu Member to play all competitions and events  organised by Melville Golf Club to obtain or maintain an official SGU or SLGA handicap. The 54 holes  of qualifying rounds are FREE so scores can be submitted. Otherwise Greenfees and entry fees will be charged at the full standard rate. Dates of Gents and Ladies competitions medal/rounds to be announced following AGMs in January.

"3 medal" Membership has been used to describe a basic low entry cost Pay and Play Membership and entitles the member to a CONGU handicap according to current rules which does not nececessarily involve playing 3 medals.
